Her is a romantic movie filled with comedy, science fiction and drama. It’s a story about Theodore Twombly, played by Joaquin Phoenix, who falls hopelessly in love with his A.I. operating system, Samantha, voiced by Scarlett Johansson.

I believe the love story between the two is more than just a typical love story; it’s a change in his life style. While the movie is based in the future, the love connection between Theodore and Samantha shows how much we as humans rely on technology now. Theodore,going through a divorce, gets the A.I operating system and basically creates Samantha and she soon progresses into everything Theodore wants in a woman. Only one problem: she is not flesh and blood,  she is just downloadable software.

The movie Her is a very different kind of love story but it shows very real love and qualities we all look for. Her fills our heart with joy, showing no matter what the conditions are we can all find love.
