About the Pepper Bough
The Colton High School Pepper Bough is the newspaper of record for Colton High and the Colton community at-large.
The paper’s history goes all the way back to 1917, when the first journalism class was started at CHS. Since then, the Pepper Bough has reported about all the characters, events, and information of import.
For the 2021-22 school year, Mr. Jeremiah Dollins was named adviser for the Pepper Bough. He is the fifth adviser in the paper’s history, taking the reins from Mr. David Rainey.
The Pepper Bough aims to be an exemplary source of news, opinion, and entertainment for the Colton community. Our focus is on the stories that have the greatest impact on all of the citizens in this rich and storied region of Southern California.
All opinions expressed in the paper are those of the writer, and do not reflect Colton High School’s administration or the Pepper Bough editorial staff, unless otherwise indicated.
Opinions expressed in non-bylined editorials are those of the staff as a whole.
