Season 5 of Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things premiered on Thanksgiving, with Netflix serving up the final season in chunks on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The response to the final episodes has been a mixed bag, with many avid fans excited about the new story arcs, and satisfied with the finale. Others, however, struggled with the final season’s pacing and the time allotted to new-ish characters that took away from fan favorites.
