Our Goal
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High. Like all of our organizations, we have needs, from site maintenance ($500 annually) to equipment (cameras, microphones, video cameras) to spirit gear (t-shirts, press passes). Please consider donating. Every little bit helps support good journalism in Colton.
About the Contributors
Bianca Martinez, Staff Writer
Bianca Martinez is a sophomore at Colton High School and this is her first year writing for the Pepper Bough. She has lived in Colton her whole life except for when she was a baby she lived in Loma Linda. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her friends, reading, and visiting places with her family. She likes writing about sports and the changes that are happening in the world. She’s also a part of the HEAL program and writing for the Pepper Bough will be a new experience for her.
Daniela Luna, Staff Writer
Daniela Luna is a freshman in Colton High School. She joined journalism because she enjoys learning about her community and what is going on, but in this case, she likes to know what’s going on in her school. When Daniela was younger she used to like writing about things that she found interesting; she was not the best at it, but she enjoyed it. Before she joined journalism she used to also enjoy drawing or taking pictures of what she always found interesting.
