Pop+Star+Whitney+Houston+Dies

Well-known pop star Whitney Houston was pronounced dead on February 11th 2012. Her death certificate states that the cause of death has yet to be determined. Coroners are still examining her organs to figure out her cause of death, though a source told E!  News Channel that Whitney had no marks on her indicating drug use. The public is anxious to know her cause of death.

She died one day before the Grammy’s at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Whitney Houston’s fans were devastated, as were her friends and peers who honored her at the Grammy’s.  Since Whitney’s death, her album prices were raised on iTunes, since the sale of her albums skyrocketed and everyone began to purchase her music. Sony later stated that it was a mistake, and brought the albums back to its regular price.

Her daughter Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital after her mother’s death due to stress issues. Bobbi is now trying to recover from this dreadful loss.

Whitney’s funeral took place Saturday February 18th 2012. Family and friends were visibly distraught about their loss. Whitney’s family decided to have an open casket; she was buried in $500,000 worth of jewelry. She was dressed in a purple dress and gold shoes. Her mother walked behind her casket as she was being carried in. Whitney was buried next to her father John Russell Houston Jr., in Westfield, New Jersey. Celebrities such as Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson have done tributes in the name of Whitney Houston, as a remembrance for such a legend that we’ve lost.
