David Rainey, Adviser
Now in his 25th year of advising the Pepper Bough, and his 28th year at Colton High, English teacher Dave Rainey hopes to continue the streak of First Place finishes in the annual American Scholastic Press Association “Best High School Newspapers” national contest. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 1980 with a BA in Creative Writing. Besides advising the paper, he also teaches Creative Writing and advises the school yearbook, the Crimson and Gold. In his spare time he spoils his three dogs and loves to play electric blues guitar.
