Colton, CA—What started off as a possible blowout turned into a nailbiter on Thursday as the Yellowjackets pulled out a much needed victory over the Bloomington Bruins 62-55.
Colton was up by double digits going into halftime, but Bloomington came out strong in the second half, taking a lead late in the fourth. Colton, however, pulled it out on strong performances by Andres Elenes and Brandon Amaral.
With the victory, Colton improves their record to 3-7 on the season. Their next game will be at home against Desert Hot Springs on Dec. 15. Game time for JV is 4:30 p.m., varsity is at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale at GoFans.
