Check out the first episode of Colton High’s brand new video news magazine, ‘The Pulse.’

You don’t need a life . . . you need “The Pulse.”

The Pepper Bough staff is proud to introduce “The Pulse,” our bi-weekly video news magazine. On each episode, you can expect to see features showcasing the broad range of culture, activities, and academics of Colton High and its students. This, along with some fun recurring features, like “One Minute Reviews” and “CHS Uncensored” with which you are already familiar.

On the premiere episode of “The Pulse” you can expect some exciting features for the Pepper Bough’s staff. Briana McMullen and Christopher Bowden take you to Senior Sunrise to hang out with the seniors from CHS, Washington and Slover Mountain High. Then football stars Mateo Barboza, Damian Sanchez and Ryan Villalpando debate the merits of boba drinks. You’ll also get to learn more from Briana about the CHS Boating Team, and hang out with Elijah Goodman and a bunch of friends at the home opening football game on Aug. 18. We also have a “CHS Uncensored” featuring our teachers, and a cool PSA from America Avila and Mia Zamora about the importance of the rights protected by the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

And that’s just the beginning for “The Pulse.” We got a lot more in store.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
