Football game Friday night has updated time and location
Game against Cerritos High School will take place at Gahr High School at 7 p.m.
Colton is ready for the playoffs!
Colton, CA—Last Friday, Colton High earned a spot in the CIF-Southern Section playoffs. On Sunday, they found out they will be playing Cerritos High School on Friday, November 4. Today, the time and venue were locked down.
This Friday, the Yellowjackets will play Cerritos High School at Gahr High School in Cerritos. Game time is 7 p.m.
Colton finished their season 5-5 with a 4-1 record in Skyline League play, placing second behind Rialto. The team started slowly with a challenging schedule featuring games against strong teams like AB Miller and San Bernardino, but over the second half of the season, with the return of wide receiver Xavier Sandoval, Colton found their game and ended on a 3-game winning streak.
The Cerritos Dons finished with a 5-5 record, but 3-0 in the 605 league. They are coming off a 52-20 victory over Glenn High School and are ranked #8 in the CIF-SS. They are led by sophomore back Kalib Moran, who averages 38.6 yards receiving and 77 yards rushing in an offense focused on the run game.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
