Colton finished 9-12 overall, with a record of 3-4 in the San Andreas League. They enter the game on an upswing, having won two of their last three games in the regular season. Starting pitchers Nalyn Hull and Zerena Acevedo have been consistent all season both on the mound and in the batter’s box, with all-around contributions coming from center fielder Elena Torrero, shortstop Alexia Castor, and catcher Giuliana Danovaro.

The Oak Hills Bulldogs come into the game with an overall record of 18-9, and a first place 9-1 record in the Mojave River League. They are led on offense by shortstop Holly Medina (.515 batting average, 50 hits, 35 runs) and third base Maddie Romo (.405 batting average, 30 hits, 5 home runs). On the mound, Carly Baze comes into the game with an ERA of 2.83.

“Our chances are just as good as everyone else,” Coach Chris Reyes said. “We’re all 0-0 once we get there. We had a good run last year, and I expect the same of the girls this year.”
