There really is not much to do, socially, in the inland empire, especially to those not of 21-years of age or older. The few concerts and festivals that do make their way to the inland empire are 99.99% of the time intended for older audiences. And what are we to do on the weekend besides watch movies? … Walk our dogs? Mow the lawn? Tie our shoes? (Does not apply to those wearing Velcro shoes) No, we want out.
Something needs to be done, or there will be riots in the near future. I propose opening all age venues in and around the city of Colton to those who wish to perform, both benefiting performers and the forever bored portion of the Colton population.
Teenagers need something to talk about other than drugs and alcohol. Idolizing illegality is definitely not the way to go and it can all be blamed on boredom. Sheer, tasteless, boredom.
