StepUP Saturday School opportunity on Oct. 22
This Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8:00 A.M. until 12:15 P.M., Colton High is hosting its fifth StepUP Saturday School day of the year. Saturday School provides students with an opportunity to receive helpful tutoring and clear attendance issues.
Due to limited staff availability this weekend, StepUP will only host a maximum of 250 students. Be advised that students will be turned away once capacity is reached.
No students will be admitted after 8:10 A.M. Students are required to bring schoolwork with them to complete during the two sessions. Students are required to attend the full four and a quarter hours to earn attendance recovery credit.
Nutrition services will provide no-cost food options for students during a 15-minute break between sessions.
Students who attend StepUP for attendance clearance will receive one full day of clearance. For those without full-day absences, one StepUP clears three non-consecutive period absences, or three tardies.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
