Sign up to save lives at the HEAL Pathway’s annual blood drive
It’s time to save some lives!
The HEAL Pathway is hosting their annual Lifestream Blood Drive on September 14th from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the MacIntosh Gym.
HEAL student Marikaren Garcia-Marin suggests that the blood drive is a good way “to help others out that are in need of the blood.”
If you’re a CHS student or staff member and want to participate in the blood drive, you have to weigh at least 110 pounds and be 15 years or older by the day of the blood drive.
Mrs.Griffith explains that “the biggest importance is that we save lives” and “the blood goes to Arrowhead regional so it can actually be used for blood transfusions.”
Sign-ups are until Friday, September 7th. You can do this by going to tinyurl.com/HEALblood and completing the Google Form. For more more information you can go to room 51 with Mrs.Griffith, or talk with a HEAL Pathway student.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
