CHS students honor teachers with Teacher Appreciation Spirit Week
Colton, CA—In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week from April 25-29, Colton High will be celebrating their favorite instructors with a Teacher Appreciation Spirit Week. ASB announced the Spirit Week themes this morning via student announcements.
On Monday, students will embrace the parenting side of teachers by dressing as either “BBQ Dads” or “Soccer Moms.”
Tuesday is all about celebrating student futures, which are so bright everyone will be wearing . . . sunglasses!
Wednesday will honor colleges and universities as students bring out their favorite college gear.
On Thursday, teachers may find themselves honored or mocked (who knows) with “Dress Like Your Favorite Teacher” day. Students are asked to don an outfit that makes them look the most like their favorite teacher.
The week ends with “Adam Sandler Day.” With Sandler’s inspirational classic “Billy Madison” in mind, students are challenged to dress like their favorite Adam Sandler character. We suspect we will probably see a lot of Little Nickys, but not nearly enough Robbies from “The Wedding Singer.”
So, bring out your school spirit next week, and celebrate your favorite teachers!
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
