Colton, CA—The Wellness Center is hosting Kindness Week the week of January 24-28 here at Colton High.
Kindness Week is an opportunity to place a spotlight on activities and event to support student wellness and coping with anxiety.
Starting on Monday, Jan. 24, students are invited to “sprinkle kindness” by leaving caring notes for those they love, or for perfect strangers in need of a pick-me-up.
On Tuesday, Jan. 25, a therapy dog will visit the Wellness Center during both lunches to interact with students. After school, the Wellness Club will participate in a therapy dog-centered activity.
On Wednesday, Jan. 26, the Wellness Center is hosting a Kindness Photo Scavenger Hunt. Go to room 31 for more information and materials.
On Thursday, Jan. 27, the Wellness Center will host a lunchtime bracelet making activity.
And on Friday, Jan. 28, the Wellness Center will host a B-I-N-G-O challenge. Pick up B-I-N-G-O cards in room 31.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
