Canned Food Drive seeks to support those in need this holiday season
Through November 17 at Colton High School, ASB and CROSS Club are collecting items for their Canned Food Drive through the school’s first period classes.
The Canned Food Drive is a competition between first period classes. The class with the most donated items will be awarded a pizza party.
All donations will go to Frank A. Gonzales Community Center to be distributed to people in need this holiday season. Donated items should be nonperishable dried or canned goods only. For example, only canned fruit, beans, or macaroni instead of fresh fruit or prepared dishes.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
