StepUP Saturday School opportunity on Oct. 23
StepUP is being held at CHS on Saturday Oct. 23 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Here is the list of participating teachers.
This Saturday, Oct. 23, from 8:00 A.M. until 12:15 P.M., Colton High is hosting their sixth StepUP Saturday School day of the year. Saturday School provides students with an opportunity to receive helpful tutoring and clear attendance issues.
No students will be admitted after 8:10 A.M. Students are required to bring schoolwork with them to complete during the two sessions. Students are required to attend the full four and a quarter hours to earn attendance recovery credit.
Nutrition services will provide no-cost food options for students during a 15-minute break between sessions.
Students who attend StepUP for attendance clearance will receive one full day of clearance. For those without full-day absences, one StepUP clears three non-consecutive period absences, or three tardies.
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High. Like all of our organizations, we have needs, from site maintenance ($500 annually) to equipment (cameras, microphones, video cameras) to spirit gear (t-shirts, press passes).
