STEP-UP: the program that saves many of us from not going to prom or any special events, because as we all know attendance is a big part of excellence. Students are expected to attend Saturday School in order to clear attendance and catch up on school work.

Anyone who is going to attend prom and or any other events that require a clean attendance has been notified that it is a possibility that  some STEP-UP days will be eliminated, meaning that we would be left with fewer days to help our attendance and our grades.  Seniors have made Saturday School a priority since they are required to have a clean attendance in order to walk at the graduation ceremony. This has frightened many seniors, because they may still need more time for Saturday School in order to assure their spot at the ceremony.

There are two set dates that we know will not be changed:  March 2^nd and March 9^th. Those dates have the official “mark” on them, meaning that if you only need two more Saturday Schools , there they are. This, of course, does not mean there will be no more after those, but those are the ones we are ensured. Other dates that we have been given can either be removed or postponed to another date.

With that said, students don’t keep on postponing your attendance at Saturday School, because you never know what can happen.  We all procrastinate, but given the deadline or the warning that not all Saturday Schools will be ensured then you should get to it!  It’s time to put school as a priority on Saturdays too!
