Tutoring now available after school in library, teacher classrooms

A lot of teachers and students attending college take time out of their day and give attention to students who seek it. Not a lot of students actually take advantage of this opportunity, when they should. If Colton High students actually take the advantage of having the opportunity to attend tutoring , many wouldn’t be struggling as much as they are right now.

Tutoring usually take place in the library or in some teachers classrooms. If you’re going to the library for tutoring, they could help you on any subject, but if you’re going to a specific teacher, they will only help you on a specific subject. Tutoring in the library usually takes place on Tuesday and Thursdays, right after school. For teachers, they would have it on days they assign it on. Students that have graduated from Colton High and now attend college are the ones helping on any subject you need help on the most. They’ll give you the special attention that you need and you will soon start noticing that you’re starting to understand the lessons more and more. This is a great time to take advantage for this; all you got to do is take time out of your day show up. Check with your teachers bulletin board for a copy of the tutoring schedule.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
