It’s time to meet the 2026 CHS Prom Court.

Welcome to Prom 2026!

What a wonderful time of the year, filled with romance and excitement and the promise of one incredible night.

This year’s Prom will be held at the South Park Center in the USC Tower out in Los Angeles, where the theme will be the elegant and extravagant “MET Gala – A Night of Endless Memories,” inspired by the annual event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

For our 10 members of the Prom Court, the evening is certain to be especially exciting as they await the big announcement of who will be named Prom King and Queen. Our nominees this year are:

For King, Freddie Herrera, Juan Luna, Brian Rodriguez Alcantar, Ryan Vasquez, and Tyler Zesk.

For Queen, Jennifer Ascencio, Gabriella Gomez, Kloe Gonzales, Kaithlyn Mendoza-Aguilar, and Leah Ornelas.

The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High. Like all of our organizations, we have needs, from site maintenance ($500 annually) to equipment (cameras, microphones, video cameras) to spirit gear (t-shirts, press passes). Bianca Martinez is a sophomore at Colton High School and this is her first year writing for the Pepper Bough. She has lived in Colton her whole life except for when she was a baby she lived in Loma Linda. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her friends, reading, and visiting places with her family. She likes writing about sports and the changes that are happening in the world. She’s also a part of the HEAL program and writing for the Pepper Bough will be a new experience for her.
