CHS Alumni speak out about why they love the school and why they chose to work here.

You can take a kid out of Colton, but you can’t take Colton out of the kid. That maxim definitely applies to the number of Colton High alums who have made the choice to return as employees at their alma mater.

In this special video, Daphne Marquez, aided by editor Deriel Jasher Garcia, interviewed 12 former Yellowjackets who now serve their community as teachers, administrative assistants, registrars, and program coordinators. Originally presented to the CHS staff as part of the 2025 welcome back ceremony, Marquez revisited the video, and with the help of Garcia, added new material to remind the community at large just why Colton High is a such a memorable place.
