The CHS community is showing gratitude all November in daily “Grateful Gobbles”
To celebrate November as the month of gratitude, the Pepper Bough has invited staff, students, and community members to answer that traditional Thanksgiving Dinner table question: “What are you grateful for?”
Ms. Lucy Leyva, English Teacher
“I am grateful for my health and the health of my loved ones. I am grateful for my students and the way they make me laugh and think. And for music and the way it soothes my soul. I am grateful for a lot; gratefulness keeps me going.”
—Ms. Lucy Leyva, English Teacher
Mr. Leo Cruz, English Teacher
“I am grateful for maintaining an optimistic outlook because it helps keep me sane.”
—Mr. Leo Cruz, English Teacher
Ms. Jamie Badillo, English Teacher
“I am grateful for my family and my students because I consider them part of my family.”
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High. Like all of our organizations, we have needs, from site maintenance ($500 annually) to equipment (cameras, microphones, video cameras) to spirit gear (t-shirts, press passes). Please consider donating. Every little bit helps support good journalism in Colton.
