Eyebrow maintenance. What’s the big deal? Is it really all that important? To find out the answer, we set out and asked a few students on campus a number of opinionated questions entailing eyebrows, eyebrow maintenance, and what it takes to maintain eyebrows.
PEPPER BOUGH: How important is eyebrow maintenance to you?
VANESSA Q: Not very.
FRANCESA V: Very important. I don’t want them to have a unibrow.
CHRISTINE T: Not at all.
ART L: *head nod*
OMAR L: Not important at all… actually, yeah, a little bit.
PEPPER BOUGH: Do you groom your eyebrows?
VANESSA Q: Not really.
FRANCESCA V: Yeah.
CHRISTINE T: Sometimes.
ART L: *head nod*
OMAR L: No.
PEPPER BOUGH: Do you do your eyebrows yourself or have them done?
VANESSA Q: Have them done.
FRANCESCA V: I do them myself.
CHRISTINE T: Have them done.
ART L: *head nod*
PEPPER BOUGH: Do you trim your eyebrows?
VANESSA Q: No.
FRANCESCA V: Yeah.
CHRISTINE T: No.
ART L: *head shake*
PEPPER BOUGH: Wax, tweeze, thread, shave, or burn?
VANESSA Q: Battle axe.
FRANCESA V: I usually tweeze them but I like getting them done.
CHRISTINE T: Thread.
ART L: Wax.
PEPPER BOUGH: Would you rather have caterpillar or chola eyebrows?
VANESSA Q: Chola
FRANCESCA V: Chola
CHRISTINE T: Chola.
ART L: Caterpillar.
OMAR L: Caterpillar.
PEPPER BOUGH: Do you care if your significant other grooms their eyebrows or not?
VANESSA: I prefer them to not have any eyebrows at all.
FRANCESA V: Yes, hairy eyebrows are unattractive.
CHRISTINE T: Yeah, so they can look good.
ART L: *head nod*
OMAR L: Yes. Very much.
Eyebrows or not, it seems to matter, well at least to the majority of the high school population. This just goes to show the differentiation of opinions in Colton High School. Do you do your eyebrows? Eyebrows either destroy or compliment. Just remember, eyebrows are the nipples of the face.
