Universal Studios brings the terror with Halloween Horror Nights

Ominous feelings flood the air when you arrive at the gates of Universal Studios on a night of their annual Universal Horror Nights.

This year was jammed packed with eerie mazes that make you shudder even when you think about them. Excitement was brought back to classic rides like the Universal Tram tour which has taken over by endless waves of “walkers” from the thrilling television series The Walking Dead. This seemed to be there most intriguing attraction which caused the theme park to sell out on various nights and it did not disappoint. Not only was the tram overtaken by the undead, but they also had a completely separate maze which many people claimed gave them a reason to return on another day.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Silent Hill were both turned into horrifyingly enjoyable mazes which really captured the whole experience of horror. Even though the lines for these mazes would take up to almost an hour and a half the few minutes it took to survive through these mazes and venture towards an escape were totally worth it. Being that Universal Studios is one of the huge contributors to make-up art and costumes in a lot of horror films there was no way to escape the horrifying creatures that roamed throughout the entire park. Killer clowns and wicked witches showed no mercy to anyone who tried to contest or run away from the opportunity of getting what you paid for.

If you were looking for a night if fun and excitement but also hoping to get scared to no end I highly recommend that you take a day to experience Universal Horror Nights. The last day for you to get tickets is Halloween Day and should be one of the best nights for you to go. Take the people who you know will have a good time and wont ruin it by constantly complaining that it’s not scary enough. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and depending on the day can last up until 1:00 a.m. For more information visit the website at www.halloweenhorrornights.com/
