Japanese club open to campus

Japan lovers; this is your club! This is a great after school activity that covers every aspect of Japan; the food, culture, and traditions. Japanese club has been around for four years, yet not a lot of people have heard of it.

Japanese club president, senior Katie Villarreal, has been a member for three years and is very pleased to be Japanese club president, but says there are the downfalls of being the leader of a club that doesn’t get much appreciation. But she stresses that the club is a fun way to learn new things. “Everyone who loves Japan gets together and learns more about what they’re interested in,” says Villarreal.

This club gets less exposure than it should, but it’s a place where you learn about something you want. We need more clubs like this around Colton High School.

If you are interested in joining, meetings are every Friday after school in room 607!

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
