Where’s the beef? Not in this Mickey Dee’s

Wheres the beef? Not in this Mickey Dees

Mc Donald’s is known as one of the biggest fast food chains in the world, serving a total of 58,000,000 people every day. They can be found virtually anywhere in the world and serve a variety of food, from their famous Big Macs, fries, to breakfasts and Mc Flurries.

Now, the new Chicken Maharaja Mac has been added to the new menu for the first ever Mc Donald’s in India that avoids beef in their products. Since 42% of the population of India does not eat beef, due to their Hindu religious edicts against it, this is a big opportunity for Mc Donald’s to take a step into creating a Hindu-friendly menu for the Hindu people of India. Since Mc Donald’s is known for making and selling beef products, creating this menu will make them even bigger.

Mc Donald’s has a lot of competition and serving more food that the locals eat will increase sales and make them stay at the top. Mc Donald’s uses chicken as a substitute for beef like the Maharaja Mac which is a Big Mac with chicken patties instead of beef. Even though there were traces of beef in the vegetable oil used to make their French fries, Mc Donald’s is pushing to make their restaurants in India an beef-free and cater to the food needs of India. As Mc Donald grows in fast food restaurants around the world the first non-beef Mc Donald’s will be the first of many built around the world.
