Abortion is an abomination; Planned Parenthood must shoulder some blame

Planned Parenthood has been around for many, many years and has helped, provided, supported, and destroyed life.

Planned Parenthood all around the United States has been criticized for its acts of wrong doings (Abortion) but the services provided to protect young men and women suits the health center better and creates a better reputation for them. Despite the national legality of abortion since the Roe vs. Wade  Supreme Court decision in 1973, states all around the U.S. have tried to permanently repress any form of abortion because of their pro-life beliefs of life begins at conception and simply because of their values.

Since March, Health and Human Services has stopped funding Texas’ Women’s Health Center and Planned Parenthood has sued Texas. President Obama, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, have personally tried to step in and fund Planned Parenthood with federal funds and have threatened to take away Texas’ whole health care program. Since then their case has been making its way up to the courts. On August 22, 2012, the 5th United States Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Texas now has the right to defund Planned Parenthood.

Texas isn’t the only state to have major victory in the pro-life fight; 10 other states have also defunded Planned Parenthood: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. Proceeding these rulings $61,740,900 has been placed back into the federal budget since these 10 states defunded Planned Parenthood.  Defenders of Planned Parenthood point out that only 3 percent of their business has to do with abortions; the rest focusing on contraception and women’s health issues. But to one who values life, 3 percent is 3 percent too many.

Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards claimed “This case has never been about Planned Parenthood — it’s about the women who rely on Planned Parenthood for cancer screenings, birth control, and well-woman exams.” If Planned Parenthood really wanted to keep their funding for women’s health care, they could’ve just cut their Abortion services out of their itinerary and they would still have the support of many Texans.  Richards concluded defiantly, “Planned Parenthood health center doors are open today, and will be open tomorrow.”

The bright side of this: Texas doesn’t have to use money out of their own taxes to help fund their “death trap.”  I could only imagine the guilt that Texans must have on their minds when they imagine all their hard working money going to these clinics to [help] abort innocent unborn children.
