“I would say my favorite science teacher is Ms. Ramirez. I was lucky enough to be one of the few that has her two years consecutively for HEAL biology and HEAL chemistry. She really helped me find my love and passion for science and medicine through her class and all of her lessons. She was able to create a comfortable and friendly learning environment that I think many teachers try and fail at. I was always able to rely on Ms. Ramirez to talk whenever I needed a friend. And her ghost stories were also pretty amazing! She was able to walk me down the carpet when I won Homecoming King, so she’ll always have a place in my heart.” – Enrique Baltazar, Grade 12
