What are you passionate about outside of teaching?
Coaching football or whatever my kids are playing.

Have you had any other jobs than teaching?
I was a warehouse security guard, as well as an instructional assistant for Adapted PE.

What is something interesting about you that students wouldn’t know?
I have a very multiracial family: my dad is black, my mom is Mexican, my wife is asian, and my kids are a mix of everything.
