What are you passionate about outside of teaching?
Outside of teaching? My family and I really love to sew and quilt, so I do lots of quilting.

Have you had any other jobs than teaching?
Yes, when I was younger I worked for the Department of Navy in the human resources office, so I hired and fired people.

What is something interesting about you that students wouldn’t know?
I lived in Japan back in the early 2000s with my four children, and my husband who was in the Navy, which is what took us to Japan. It was really cool to get to know the culture of the people that lived there and I made lots of friends amongst the Japanese community.
