We can all agree that 2020 has been quite a year, that’s true both in the real world and in the world of Anime! Last year was a great year for anime because we got to see some of the best new gen masterpieces like; Vinland Saga, Demon slayer, Fire force, Promised Neverland, and, Domestic Girlfriend. Some which were not so great but, it an overall a great year for all the fellow weebs/anime watchers out there.

    This year, we are getting to see new seasons of anime like My Hero Academia, and Fire Force, and we get to see the conclusion to one of the best of the best, Attack On Titan. Its 4th and final season is expected to come out towards the end of the year. We also got some fantastic new releases like; Tower of God, Plunderer, and Interspecies Reviewers. 

    One thing that is still fairly surprising is that there weren’t as many Isekia released this year, not nearly as much as the previous years. We did get to see the return of a long awaited fan favorite, Re-Zero and it was as satisfying as I anticipated it to be. So was 2020 the best year of anime we’ve had in the past decade? No! Not even close! In fact, it wasn’t even close to the year 2019 was but it did manage to deliver enough to quell quarantine boredom.
