One of the scariest movies of 2016 so far was deemed to be watched by millions. The viewers had completely different opinions. Many thought that it was over the popcorn jump scare scary; others thought that it lacked the fear factor.

The movie did not meet up to many of the viewers expectations. The trailer set up a completely different story in viewers minds, as it did mine.

The story is about a family of six. A father, mother, and four children. The family left a farm plantation to live on land that is next to a forest. Tensions and panic rise when the youngest of the four children disappear, as seen in the movie trailer. Fingers are pointed at the oldest daughter who was watching her brother when he disappeared. They accuse the eldest daughter of witchcraft. What the family does not know is that the evil that lurks beyond the land and into the forest.
