During the games of Major League Baseball, you’ll see teams get to scores ranging from 0-13 but when a score is 20-1 then it is a devastating blow for the team who lost. The Phillies had a huge defeat over the Marlins on Saturday, April 7th. The Marlins took the lead 1-0 in the first inning after a runner scored. After this, the Phillies scored five runs in the first, four runs in the third, eight runs in the fourth, two runs in the sixth, and one run in the seventh, before you know it the Phillies were up by 19. According to the Marlins Twitter account, they tweeted, “just an FYI: We’re not the first team to allow this many runs in a game.” The Marlins team manager tells reporters “It seemed like everything went their way, it only counts for one (loss).”
