Steeler’s linebacker, Ryan Shazier can now feel his legs again. After suffering through a spinal cord surgery, for a while, Shazier claimed he could not feel them.

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center issued an update on his status Thursday afternoon and claimed Shazier has begun physical rehab. “Ryan Shazier remains hospitalized at UPMC recovering from the spinal stabilization surgery performed last week by UPMC neurosurgeons and Steelers team physicians Dr. David Okonkwo and Joseph Maroon,” the hospital said in a statement. “Mr. Shazier has started physical rehabilitation as part of his recovery process.” After everything Shazier has been through, all he wants to do is go back to playing football no matter how long its recovery will take.

The linebacker still has a long and great career ahead of him. He is arguably the best linebacker the Steelers drafted.  Even though rehab, he managed to see his team play in the playoffs and has constantly motivated them to do better. Shazier is reportingly going to be back on the field at the start of the new season.
