HR Record in the 2017 World Series

The 2017 World series Houston Astros vs The Los Angeles Dodgers set a new Home Run World Series record. They hit 21 home runs within 5 games. The Astros and Dodgers have combined for 22 home runs through the first five games of this series, surpassing the previous record of 21 set by the Anaheim Angels and San Francisco Giants in 2002, a series that lasted the full seven games. The Astros had 13 home runs in total, one of the players George Springer hit 3 home runs.  He was named MVP of the whole series because his bat got hot and he put up numbers. The Houston Astros hit a total of 5 homes in game 5. This series was all about the home runs because that’s how all the runs were basically scored with both teams. This whole season was a HR breaking record so they brought it to the World Series too. This whole season overall was a great and memorable season.
