Varsity basketball goes all out in last game of season

On February 9th, the Colton Varsity basketball team played their last game of the season. They played away against their school rivals Grand Terrace.

In the beginning of the game they started off hot with it being a very close game in the first 5 minutes. With it being Noah Martinez’s last game with the team, he seemed to be going out strong. The only thing is that Colton seemed to go down hill as the game went on.

Going into the 2nd quarter the Titans broke this game open with a big lead over the Yellow Jackets. Even though Colton was trailing they seemed to never give up and always give their all no matter what.

With Grand Terrace up this whole game the player that seemed to stand out the most for their team was Brandon Walker. He was very explosive and was just a stand out player overall. On the other hand for the YellowJackets, the star player of this game was Noah Martinez, playing in his last game for the team

At the end of the game the score was a drastic lead for the Titans. Even though it turned out this way, Colton never gave up and that’s the way their season went also. Not winning a single game throughout the season, they should still be proud that they gave it their all.
