Starting high school is a big thing for everyone. We get to meet new people, have fun, and experience high school. And now we can finally get to do the things we planned before we took that new step. But with the COVID-19 pandemic going on, all of my goals must be put on hold. Freshman year is a new chapter in our lives, and is irreplaceable. Without having the fun of being able to make new friends, we will be lucky enough to still have those remaining friends from middle school. It sucks to do online school because we don’t get to experience freshman year, but also online school is not that bad. People don’t like online school, because they don’t get to see their friends or because they just don’t like it. Let’s hope we end freshman year in school and not online.
