Colton High’s seniors back for last semester

Alyssa Wilborn, Reporter

Colton High School students recently returned back to school this week on January 8, 2019, but for us Seniors it’s not just going back to school like usual. At least not for me and some of my fellow classmates, it’s more than just school now it’s the countdown to graduation. The day we went back to school was very emotional for me, while getting ready I tried holding back the tears. These tears were mixed between joy and sadness.

Joyful tears because I was finally gonna be finished with High School and would be starting a new chapter in my life. But also tears of sadness because I’ve got the pleasure of having such wonderful teachers and meeting so many new people throughout my journey through High School. It has been a wonderful experience and I especially look forward to the Senior activities closer to the end of the school year such as Prom and Grad nite 2019. My only worry is my attendance, I think I speak for all us seniors when I say Saturday school has become our best friend. Also, I know that this semester is gonna be 1000X more stressful than last only because we have to pass all classes if not you don’t have a chance to redeem yourself before graduation. I got lucky and have the easiest classes and on top of it home period so I’m thankful.

For other Seniors, I hope they got there act together I’d hate to see people not graduate for not having their priorities straight. Everyone needs to just help one another when it comes to doing work not copy, help because at the end of the day we are all trying to end up at the same place at the end of May and it’s the graduation stage.
