Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has made more than double the amount of sales from last years digital sales on PC. Publisher activision describes the sales as a “new franchise high”.

Black Ops 4 opening weekend got over $500 million worth of sales in just three days, making it one of the biggest launches Call of Duty since their release of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Call of Duty Black Ops 2 made over one billion dollars in 15 days and made $500 million in the first 24 hours of the initial release date. This is also the first Call of Duty game to ever be released on blizzardbattle.net. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be the first of these games without a first person shooter campaign and instead is replaced with a battle royale.

People speculate that this game could get more sales if it had a campaign instead of the battle royale, just like all the other games in this series. People are more interested in the multiplayer and zombie part of the game. Zombies have been making the game extremely popular with it first being introduced in Black Ops. Zombies were introduced with the game starting in World War 2 with the Nazis finding an ancient cave filled with zombies. They begin infecting most of Germany then move onto the rest of the world. You would begin the game by spawning in and having to survive as long as possible, solo or with friends. You are able to get weapons and fight off zombies, while also getting cash for attacking these zombies. You could use these points to upgrade your weapons and buy new ones or progress further into the map.

Multiplayer has become extremely popular in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Modern Warfare. Therefore, multiplayer can be played as a team deathmatch, capture the flag, etc. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, having zombies, multiplayer, and now introducing a battle royale, makes it one of a kind for players.
