On Tuesday, May 1st, students from Colton, Grand Terrace, and Bloomington will be apart of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Celebration Event. To have been in the running for this event students would need: 97% attendance remainder of the school year (following the event), no outside suspensions for the remainder of the school year, 2.8 cumulative weighted GPA, and be continuously enrolled in a school within the district during the entire contest period and at the time of drawing. Only 11th and 12th graders are eligible for the grand prize of a 2018 Chevrolet Spark. The event will take place at Bloomington High School Stadium where the gates open from 4:30-6:00 pm, during this time students are allowed to participate in door prize competitions. We will also be getting entertainment by 99.1 KGGI-Master of Ceremonies Kid Jay. Overall I think that this will be a really fun event to be a part of.
