If you have Instagram, you know about Instagram stories. You can see people’s photos and short videos before they expire after 24 hours. It’s basically Snapchat for instagram, as most users would say. Recently, Instagram has been testing a new feature on telling users when someone screenshots your photos or screen record their videos on stories.

“We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you,” an Instagram spokesperson told TechCrunch, confirming the existence of the test. Screenshots and screen recordings will be shown with a camera icon with to their username. Some users have already heard of this feature and they aren’t happy about it, but it’s still in a testing phase. It’s not known when it will roll out to users. What is your opinion on this feature? Is it a good idea or bad idea?
