Go for what you love

There are endless careers, and the choices are infinite. Many people go into a job that gives a strong sense of money, to create a financial security and better living system. But, how many people go into a career that they are passionate about? Not much. A quote by Jen Welter states,”If you want to be successful in this world, you have to follow your passion, not a paycheck.”

Creating your passion into a career is rewarding enough, the ability to strive for your biggest dream and not stop until you achieve it. Some money making jobs make people happy and some feel completely horrible. There are lots of people that choose careers they aren’t happy with, that will tell you they wish they would do it all differently if they could. You have only one life, so you shouldn’t waste it working as something you hate just for the money. Ella Fitzgerald states about passion and careers,”Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. When there’s love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.” Ella displays how if you follow your heart and not doubt your intuition, you can go far in life and you won’t fail, as long as you keep striving for your passion.

When you do something you are passionate about, you become even more passionate with the work you are doing. You won’t have to force yourself to be motivated, it just comes naturally. There isn’t anything worse crawling out of bed and already dreading the day before it had even started. You will also relate more to your work and come up with even better ideas. Also, the work will never seem like you are forced to do it, you will enjoy the career because of a certain interest within the career. George Burns quotes about passion,”I’d rather be a failure at something I love than a success at something I hate.” George Burns’s quote displays there is always a fear within people that want to pursue their passion, they always wonder whether they will make it or not; but he explains that he’d rather risk failing than succeed in something he doesn’t enjoy at all.

You can earn a lot of money, but the feeling of doing something you hate will never be overcome.  The hatred of knowing you will be doing this for the rest of your life, will cause even more stress, maybe even cause health problems. But, doing a job you are passionate about will build up with creating more skills in your interest, and will drive you to achieve much more rewarding achievements within yourself in the future. You also won’t feel as much of a burden working over hours, and you won’t feel as much of being forced to work longer hours; when it’s something you love.

There are many reasons why you should go into a career you love, because happiness will always overcome the amounts of money you would make into a job you wouldn’t like. You will go above and beyond with your loved career, and no obstacle will stop you from achieving success. In the end, our work consumes most of our lives; so we should all go into a career we love.
