Politics, blah blah, more politics, blah blah blah. Today’s generation isn’t one to be interested nor fully involved in today’s politics. The majority of today’s young adults have become infatuated with American politician Bernie Sanders. Why? Well he possesses character traits that young adults already love.

We all love it when someone cares for us, even the ones that don’t want to admit it. Sanders has gave off a caring vibe towards young adults. He speaks of investing “$5.5 billion to employ 1 million young Americans and provide job-training to hundreds of thousands of others.” There’s nothing young adults love more than when you spend money on them.

Have you ever seen the Disney movie Up? Why did we love it? Because of the old man! We love old people! Sanders is 74 years old and the public makes jokes about how he won’t live long enough to complete his term, mean jokes, of course.

On the subject of jokes, Sanders has been the punchline of a lot of them on today’s social media. The majority of the media views Sanders as a pacifist. They mostly support him and his decisions towards making everything, like college, retirement, medical care, etc., more affordable.

Although young adults don’t have the biggest impact on the voting population, they have the unlimited power to influence those around them. They especially have the advantage of social media and the internet in general.
