Trash cans, they are here for a reason

Although there are many organizations to aid cleanliness locally, there is still a major issue in keeping our school environment clean. Almost everywhere a student takes a step here on campus there is a piece of trash lying around. A school is not a place for anyone to trash and make dirty. Lack of cleanliness is one of the biggest issues here on campus.

The reason for it is a lack of care and respect from the student body for our campus. The student body has grown more and more carefree for their learning environment. Why is that? Is it not cool to be clean? Is that it?

This goes out to the students that shamelessly throw trash on the floor: It isn’t that hard to throw something away in a trash can, they aren’t that difficult to find. It’s as though people don’t know what a trash can is used for. Here’s a tip: If you don’t see a trash can around keep the trash until you do. Stay clean, yo.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
