Boxing is one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Soccer, football, baseball, or even golf can be dangerous. But is cheerleading the same? First off, is cheerleading even considered a sport? This is one of the topics many kids or even adults argue over. But what’s the real answer? According to a website called Varsity.com, it states that “Cheerleading meets all the requirements to be a sport. But because it is to support highschool and college athletic teams, competition comes second, which means cheerleading is more than a sport.” But the real question is, is it as dangerous as any other sport? According to www.alligator.org, it states that cheerleading is one of the most dangerous female sports. The reason is, because so many girls had suffered concussions, mostly because they get thrown around a lot. You also need to be flexible in order to do the cheerleading dances. Cheerleading includes having to exercise and do multiple stretches, that way you’re prepared to do what you have to do.

Of course, there are also some people who think that cheerleading isn’t really as dangerous. Some of the benefits of cheerleading is that it’s good for your heart, your bones, and muscles. Cheerleading is one of the most common sports that everyone thinks isn’t dangerous. Football is the sport everyone thinks is most dangerous. The reason is, there have been people who had died during a football game. There have been people who suffered from a concussion, and even had seizures before. In cheerleading, the most common injury is a concussion. Most cheerleaders who are flyers have been dropped on the ground by accident, and some even almost died.
