Every year, Colton High School has a homecoming week. It starts off with some events, like crazy hair day, or twin day. All of the events leading up to the Homecoming Parade on Friday. It starts at Colton middle. It’s a kick starter because right after the parade is, of course, the homecoming game!

The Parade started at Colton Middle School leading it’s way down Rancho Ave. NJROTC students were in the front and they start it off with a few students leading the parade. After that is the rest of the NJROTC students. After they are Marching Band and Color Guard. Color Guard leads the Marching band with their glitter signs that spell out Colton. In the back of them is the CHS Marching band and they are in their maroon red outfits and they are proudly holding their instruments and ready to play. Followed by the band, were juniors Angela Curiel and Margaret Marin representing ASB, holding the 2017 Grand Marshal sign for the Ibarras. The 2017 homecoming parade included some of Colton’s finest like Colton High cheer, peewee cheer and football, Colton Pride, Colton City Councilmen Dr. Luis Gonzalez, CJUSD School Site Council, senior Jannet Olivares, juniors Elizabeth Melesio and Monica Rodriguez held the banner in front of the 2017 Homecoming underclassmen and senior court. Each lucky individual got to ride in a sleek corvette.

The homecoming Parade eventually ends at Colton High School Football field where it leads up to the-the big homecoming game.
