If you haven’t already gotten out your 5 Steps to a 5 book and started forming study groups, now is the time to do it! Advanced Placement (AP) testing begins in less than a week!
AP tests are very important to study for because if you pass with a score of 3 or higher, you may be able to earn some college credit and save some money on college classes.
The weeks leading up to AP testing are very stressful for many students, but they don’t have to be so bad. Several AP teachers stay after school and go to Saturday schools leading up to the exams to help their students review and even administer practice exams. If you can, stay after school sometime before your exam, and even attend Saturday school on April 29.
Another great way to study is through study groups! Get together with some friends and share your knowledge with each other. Friends help friends save money, folks. If you don’t yet have a review book, see which ones your AP teachers recommend and even see if the library has one to check out.
And while you’re busy studying hard, remember to take care of yourself. Don’t cram, get some sleep, and eat a good breakfast before your exam.
