2012 Republican Race Heats Up

2012+Republican+Race+Heats+Up

As the New Year just started, the 2012 Presidential Race has heated up rapidly.

Not as many candidates are in it as last year, but that fact won’t stop the remaining running candidates. Those determined candidates are Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, and, of course, Ron Paul. All of which are Republican, and we all know Obama is definitely out of the picture along with Democrats.

The always humorous Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann, and Ron Paul, again Republicans, are all gone. This was a big advantage for those other candidates as some big problems got erased.

So far, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are the biggest and, those who are smart will find, the most obvious and biggest presidential candidates. Sadly, Romney is still bigger than Paul, and it doesn’t look like it will change any time soon. Romney has 1.4 million fans on Facebook and Paul has only 800,000, and everyone knows that Facebook is good for anything these days, especially world news.

Somehow, on CNN News with the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Romney or Paul did not win the presidential debate. Instead it was Newt Gingrich who was victorious, despite the fact that he is not the best choice. This really increased Gingrich’s recognition. Gingrich does have a problem with his wife, on the other hand. That still won’t stop him, though.

Romney is leading in South Carolina with 35 percent support, while Paul was in dead last with a mere 13 percent. Gingrich came closest to Romney with 23 percent and Santorum had 15 percent, still, it’s better than Paul.

There is another debate coming soon, and no one knows who will win. Just like who will become President.
