Samsung cancels Supreme collaboration after finding out it was a copycat

We all know Supreme New York for having over priced clothing, accessories such as an air horn, motorcyclist helmet, a crowbar, a brick, some tennis balls, a raft, a pinball machine, etc. Honestly I can go on and on about how many things Supreme New York has released. Some times, Supreme collaborates with other companies. For example, Supreme New York has collaborated with The North Face and released a blanket, a backpack, and some apparel with the same design.

Recently, Supreme had planned a collab with Samsung, the technological company we all know about. They have made phones, televisions, smart watches, even smart fridges. However, there is a crazy plot twist to this. It turns out that Samsung thought that they would be doing a collaboration with Supreme, right? Well, that Supreme was not the Supreme New York I had explained earlier. It was another company, called “Supreme Italia.” They are a bootleg (which means that the things they sell are cheap and not real) company that sells fake Supreme clothing and accessories!

Samsung, of course after finding out about this, said that the deal was off. This is what they said: “Samsung Electronics had previously mentioned a collaboration with Supreme Italia at the Galaxy A8s China launch event on December 10th, Samsung Electronics has now decided to terminate this collaboration.”

Of course, you can’t expect every company to be perfect. Every company has its own slip ups. No one is proud of them. Samsung, however, has still caught some flack for this mess up. People have called Samsung the “Apple Copycat” and that they teamed up with the Supreme copycat, which would make it a double copycat.

This just goes to show that even complete titans of companies such as Samsung can make mistakes sometimes. What matters is how you fix those mistakes. For Samsung, all they did was just say that they weren’t going to do it anymore.

But, what is next for both Supreme New York? Will they actually make a collaboration together, even though nobody asked for it? And if so, what will they make?
