Apple just unveiled their new lineup of iPads for 2018. They are planning on releasing a new model called the iPad Pro. They announced two new iPads at the “There’s more in the making” event Oct. 30th.

The two models (available in 11in and 12.9in screen sizes) are now on sale. The new iPad Pro models were announced at Apple’s Oct. 30th event in Brooklyn and went on sale on November 7th. The iPad pro starts off at $799 and the 12.9 inch model starts off at $999. Both starting at a total of 64GB of storage inside the iPad. The next step up being 256GB with a price tag of $949 without accessories and the 12.9 inch model at $1150. Then leading to a 512GB model starting at $1150 without accessories than the 12.9 inch starting at $1350! Then the last model with the biggest storage captivity is 1 terabyte starting at $1550 then the 12.9 inch starting at $1750!

Apple has worked hard to make this years iPads different from last year’s by changing the way they look. As like the iPhone X, it is slimmer and doesn’t have a home button and the display is almost the whole screen.

The new iPad also the new iPad has a new screen they call ’Liquid Retina’. The pixels are the same as the iPad from 2017 but it has a blacklight display and pixel masking and antialiasing as on the iPhone XR. The new iPads are both 5.9 mm thick and 6.1 mm on the 10.9 inch model and the 12.9 inch model having a 6.9 mm. The iPads come in two different colors, Silver and Space Grey. The iPads also have a magnet for the apple pen on the side of them.

The new iPad also doesn’t use the original lightning port they use on the iPhones but they use a USB-C connector where the lightning port used to be. Which means you can use the iPad more when you have it plugged in.
